How to Request Account Deletion
To delete your DZPay account, please send an email to our support team with your account deletion request.
Identity Verification
For security purposes, we will need to verify your identity before processing your account deletion request. Please include the following information in your email:
- Your registered email address
- Your full name as registered
- Account creation date (if known)
- Any additional verification information we may request
Data That Will Be Deleted
Upon account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:
- Account information (username, email, password)
- Personal information (name, address, phone number)
- Payment preferences (payment methods, billing addresses)
- Payment method details
- Activity history (personal exchange activity data)
- Device IDs and device information
- Push notification tokens
- App settings and preferences
Data That Will Be Retained
Due to legal and regulatory requirements, certain data must be retained:
- Activity records for up to 7 years (as required by law)
- Anonymized security logs for fraud prevention
This data will be retained in a secure, encrypted format and will not be used for any purpose other than legal compliance.
Data Retention Period
- Immediately: Account access will be disabled
- Within 30 days: Personal data will be deleted
- Up to 7 years: Activity records retained for legal compliance
⚠️ Important Warning
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted:
- You will lose access to all your account data
- You will not be able to recover any deleted information
- You will need to create a new account if you wish to use DZPay again
- Any pending exchanges or active offers will be terminated
